Choose an action deliberately
The ability panel separates spells from internal and external martial arts. Desktop quick assignments and mobile quick-cast controls use the same learned abilities. A targeted technique still needs a valid aim; a wall does not become transparent because an ability is rare.
Capacity is not recovery
Maximum Mana or Qi, regeneration and the immediate current pool are different statistics. Transformations and equipment can change capacity without refilling a resource. Read upkeep, duration, cooldown and recovery delay before entering sustained combat.
Knowledge with consequences
Disciplines such as Qi Channeling, Rune Scribing, Resonance and Songweaving connect learned ranks with specific actions. Rare crystal gifts are cumulative unlocks, not replacements for all the scrolls, manuals and techniques found through exploration.
